After doing the Womans expo for the 3rd year in a row I finally said ENOUGH... It was a really sad day when I decided to be done but told myself that maybe when the kids are all in school and I have more free time I will do it again. It was so stressful and sewing took up so much time getting product ready that I decided my family needed me more. So now I have my stuff in a few store and stay busy making custom orders for baby showers.
Baby leggings, thank you Melissa Worthen for telling how to do these. I have hundreds now in my closet of many different colors. The picture on the right is a hooded towel. They make great baby shower gifts. This was for my Niece Haylee's 3rd birthday.
This is my neice Brekyn sporting the outfit I made. She looks so dang cute. The other picture is faceplates for light switches. They update any room very just a few dollars. I have people from California calling me to custom order them. I love when people love my work.
This year Bart decided to start running. He signed up for a half marathon and ran the half marathon after only running for 8 weeks. I couldn't believe it, he also beat my time from the year before. Picture on the left is the Provo River Half, Right- is the Suncrest Half. He was hoping to sign up for the Logan half but after finding it was full decided he would run the full. He was and is still crazy. He ran in 4hr and 46min, I am so proud of him. He could barely move for about 2 weeks after but is now wanting to run it again this year with my company.
Kaydon started Preschool this year yea for mom. I now have Tuesday and Thursday morning to just Kamryn and I. I can work out and just play around with my girl. He absolutely loves his teacher and it is helping with his Speach. I can't believe he is going to be 4 in May. For some reason I don't have a picture on my camera of Kolton but he started Kindergarten and loves riding the bus to school. He is also learning a lot and growing up way to fast. He is going to be 6 in May.
The boys got a month trial of Karate for dirt cheap at Draper Days. They loved it and wanted to keep going but the price they were asking per month was more then all my car (that was just for one boy too) so unfortunately we had to just take the trial. We hope to get Kolton into another karate place soon. We are looking into putting Kaydon into Tumbling. I know he is a boy and tumbling is for girls but he can do the splits and has since a baby. I am going to take full advantage of it while he is young and can do the splits. He needs a little girl put into him, it might calm him down.
I also learned how to make homemade marshmellows. We love them and this is Caramel and toasted coconut. I love to experiment and this was the best. My family likes to use them in Hot chocolate.
This is Bart and I at the Sandy Ampitheatre in July. I can't believe how fast time flies we are celebrating our 7 year anniversary in March and it feels like we just met yesterday. I love him more then he will ever know. He is truely my best friend and grateful he still makes me laugh.
